The Night before Nienhuis 'Twas the night before shooting and all through the firm the VP was nervous, the CD did squirm. The employees were pacing, their worries did dwell the shoot, they all feared, just might not go well. The photographer they chose from a book with such haste, the budget they feared would all go to waste. With jobs on the line and nowhere to turn, the shoot, it was destined to slow crash and burn. When all of a sudden it seemed of thin air an intern said, “Wait, don’t pull out your hair! I have here a card of a shooter well known for shots so darn good, I’ll go dial the phone!” The producer was nestled all snug in her bed like a Bat Phone it rang; the phone it was red. She wrote down the info and called up the man John answered the phone and said, “I’ll go get the van!” Away the two flew and picked up another, an assistant, a stylist and one or two other. They drove to the building, a smile on their face working like elves to put their spin on the place. The lighting was brilliant, the crew was first rate the stylist curled hair, the employees looked great. The schedule was set, Karen’s clipboard was hot John finished early and said, “What else have you got?” The employees were happy, their fears all were killed. The shoot was so smooth, the prez was so thrilled. The intern was hailed with shouts filled with praise For hiring John, her prize was a raise. As we go through our lives it’s important to note the people that don’t see their jobs just as rote. For a person like John is so very rare, he loves what he does. Anyone. Anywhere.
