John Nienhuis Wisconsin Lifestyle & Corporate Photographer
Hail to the Chief, and to the Advance Team
When President Obama recently visited Milwaukee's Master Lock Company, John Nienhuis got the opportunity to be one of the inner circle of photographers. Not the "let's have lunch in the oval office" kind of inner circle, but as close as someone pointing something at the President can get, at least without involving the big guys in dark glasses.
It was a very quick and exciting event, and we were all fascinated by the "advance team" sent out by the White House prior to the President's visit. All the behind the scenes work that most people never know about, all the things that are set up in advance so the President can just walk in and give his speech. Many of those things you'd never think of, and most of the things you don't even notice because everything is going smoothly.
With a good advance team and the proper pre-pro, your photo shoot can go smoothly too. As your team, we'll take care of things you may not even know to think about, like permits, local laws, specialized crew members, weather back up plans, and yes, security & special vehicles too. So, not only will your stress level go down but you'll be able to shoot more images and better images.
This past year our advance team got a work out too, handling pre-pro for photo shoots all over the country for various corporate photography clients. On your next shoot, create your own inner circle ~ your own advance team ~ by letting us handle the details, big and small. John and I will make sure your shoot is nothing short of presidential. Big guys in dark glasses are optional. (winter 2012)
